ePAN to Normal PAN Card Application

PAN holder details is printed on Normal Card by Income Tax Department. It has PAN number printed on top and contains PAN holder's name, date of birth, father's name. It also has Hologram which makes it genuine ID proof for its holder. This is why Normal PAN Card from ePAN is asked to by banks or other financial institutions as proof of Identity.

Some Banks or Financial Institutions ask to present Normal PAN Card as PAN proof even though we have ePAN copy while opening bank account or any work related to loans. At such moments it is necessary to convert ePAN to Normal PAN Card.

You can get Normal PAN Card from ePAN by filling up the above ePAN to Normal Card Application Form and complete all steps with required documents.

To convert ePAN to Normal PAN Card, you need to Apply for 'ePAN to Normal PAN Card' using above Application Form and get Normal Card delivered at home as per address mentioned in the form.

Following documents are required to convert ePAN to Normal PAN Card :

1. Domicile certificate issued by the Government.
2. Aadhaar Card.
3. Marriage Certificate.
4. Birth certificate issued by the Municipal Authority or any office authorised to issue birth.
5. Affidavit sworn before a magistrate stating the date of birth.
6. Matriculation certificate or Mark sheet of recognized board.
7. Photo identity card issued by the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking.
8. Driving License.
9. Election Card / Voter ID.
10. Central Government Health Scheme Card.
11. Passport.
12. Pension payment order.
13. Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card.

1. Passport.
2. Pensioner card having photograph of the applicant.
3. Photo identity card issued by the Central Government or State Government or Public Sector Undertaking.
4. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer.
5. Bank certificate in Original on letter head from the branch(along with name and stamp of the issuing officer) containing duly attested photograph and bank account number of the applicant.
6. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Parliament.
7. Central Government Health Scheme Card.
8. Driving License.
9. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Municipal Councilor.
10. Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card.
11. Aadhaar Card.
12. Arm’s license.
13. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly.
14. Election Card / Voter ID.
15. Ration card having photograph of the applicant.

1. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Gazetted officer.
2. Depository account statement less than 3 months old.
3. Bank account statement less than 3 months old.
4. Water Bill less than 3 months old.
5. Property Registration Document.
6. Election Card / Voter ID.
7. Electricity Bill less than 3 months old.
8. Post office passbook having address of the applicant.
9. Employer certificate in original.
10. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Parliament.
11. Allotment letter of accommodation issued by the Central/State Government less than 3 years old.
12. Aadhaar Card.
13. Latest property tax assessment order.
14. Landline/Broadband connection bill less than 3 months old.
15. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Municipal Councilor.
16. Passport.
17. Driving License.
18. Consumer gas connection card or book or piped gas bill.
19. Passport of Spouse (Husband/Wife).
20. Credit card statement less than 3 months old.
21. Certificate of identity in Original signed by a Member of Legislative Assembly.
22. Domicile certificate issued by the Government.

Normal Card from ePAN will be delivered to PAN Holder's Home Address by Courier mentioned in PAN Form while applying ePAN to Normal Card. Address proof having same address needs to be submitted along with application.
